this house has really been transformed
OMG! Beautiful. All of it.
Great job, this looks fantastic. That kitchen is beautiful.
Absolutely stunning! Very nice job. Thanks for sharing.
SO BEAUTIFUL!!! I love that kitchen backsplash! Is it Walker Zanger? They make GREAT tile!
Great job, the house looks gorgeous inside and out! xx
Hi Everyone, Thanks for all the great comments! Meryl, the backsplash tile is from Heath Ceramics in Sausalito, their Dimensional Collection. If you haven't been there, they have a fabulous tour you can take of their facilities and have tile seconds at a discount.
Wow! I think I'm in love with a house!

Wow, wow, and WOW! I love the way it looks, and especially the kitchen. All the details are just lovely. Someone is going to just love living there.
WOW, wow, wow. Beautiful remodel.
Love, love, love this- great job!
Stunning home but even more stunning kitchen. The high ceilings and cupboards are sensational and that back splash is beautiful in an understated complimentary way.
Warm regards,

This is beautiful. Congratulations!
Wow fantastic! When can I move in? I love the way the wooden flooring runs upstairs and downstairs including the stair case. The best thing is how light and airy the house looks. Well done :-)

What a beautiful home! I've been checking the progress regularly for ideas while I remodel my own home. Congratualtions on a job well done! I am hoping you can share some information on the lights you used outside as well as the pendants in the kitchen. Also, can I get the name of the paint colors you used in the hallway and bedroom? Thanks so much for sharing this project with us all!

Incredible transformation. The addition looks like it's part of the original home.
Hi Roxanna, I just started working on a post that gives a room by room list of paint colors, tile selections, etc. Should be up in the "Completed Projects" section in the next week, so check back soon.
Thanks for all the love guys!
Gorgeous remodel!! Love it! I plan on posting it on my blog!
I just ran across this post and I'm so in love with the way this cottage was redone. Fabulous job, the details are perfection. I want to move right in!
Hi - just found this and I am in love with the kitchen. But where are the outlets on the backsplash? We are retiling our backsplash (subway tile in a herringbone pattern) and I'm sad about the outlets marring the beautiful design. Did you move them?
Hi Amy, instead of doing outlets in the backsplash (which we all hate, right?) we installed plug mold strips underneath the upper cabinets. It's an easy fix, doesn't cost more than outlets in the backsplash, and looks so much cleaner! The only downside is that small appliances that live on the countertop will show a cord running up the backsplash, but in this house, there is plenty of cabinet space to store the mixer below.
I am in LOVE LOVE LOVE with your house! What is the ceiling heigth down stairs? We are building a craftsman style house. Thanks!
OH MY GOODNESS! Holy cow, this is one of the most amazing transformations I have EVER seen! I love it! I would love to have you come to Remodelaholic.com and write a guest post about this. If you are interested I will send you the details, just shoot me an email and let me know what you think! Thanks!

Just gorgeous, all of it. I checked your Complete Projects tab but it didn't say the blue bedroom paint color. Could it be BM's Quiet Moments?
Hi Hilary, Thanks for your kind words! Still working on the Completed Projects tab. The color at the first bedroom shown is BM Artic Gray and in the kid's bedroom below it is BM Wickham Gray.
Love the cottage. What color did you use in the family room adjoining the kitchen. It flows nicely with the edgecomb grey.
Stunning...I want to do a window seat flanked with book cases just like this in my dining room and use the seat for my dining room table.
Are these custom cabinets? I don't even know where to start on this project. Hire a builder? Carpenter? go to lowes and talk with their cabinet department.
Any advice?
The bedrooms are very inviting! I like it when you have the open space in front of the windows where you can sit on, and having the books close by. Similar style has caught my attention and would definitely work on my own room. Thanks!
